I am Elizabeth J. Launder B.Sc. Hons (Biol. Sci.) B.Sc. Hons (Ost.)M.Sc. and for 25 years I have been working nationally and internationally as a health care professional (osteopath) specialising in enhancing sporting performance and treating sports injuries. A fully qualified GOC registered osteopath, my treatment approach is effective for both humans and horses. Although predominantly a specialist with horse and rider, I treat rugby and football players, dancers and track-competitors. My unique functional musculoskeletal osteopathic approach to injury and poor performance has proved to be very successful. I work nationally and internationally with top vets and equestrian competitors and am available to travel worldwide as well as being able to receive patients at the Hartpury Equine Veterinary and Therapy Centre and Rider Performance Clinic and at my practice. I am consultant osteopath to the Three Counties Equine Hospital, Woodlands Equine Clinic, Cheltenham, and Peasbrook Equine Centre, Broadway. In addition to physical therapy and osteopathic treatment, I also provide rehabilitation to restore competitors to pre-injury fitness.
